every season has its reason. as long as it's not snowing.

there's sth about 1 granary square at kings cross in london. if you're not familiar with the adress just check out designers such as stella mccartney, matthew williamson, christopher kane or alexander mccqueen, and you'll get the picture. i'm happy to say that one of the coolest croatian designers andreja bistričić, whose work has already been featured on my blog so many times, also went to university there. anyway, this post has nothing to do with stella, alex or andreja, but the work of current students and those who have recently graduated from central st martins college of art and design. their work was featured in a super cool editorial assembled for student's blog 1 granary. i must admit it has been long time since i last saw something absolutely cool and edgy like this. another reason to pay attention to central st martins fresh graduates each year.

although my sick-of-it-all mood is still on and i'm trying to ignore the unimportant things surrounding me, there was one thing that i have been really looking forward to see in the current fashion weeks frenzy. i've already praised him many times on my blog, because i'm in love with his photography. his debut collection for ysl has been highly anticipated for months. even the scandals with changing the name of the brand and the dispute between him and a certain ny times fashion critic only fanned the flames.. because being bitchy and with lots of self-confidence perfectly fits the picture of a bad boy who knows what he is doing. i had the feeling that marianne faithful, anita pallenberg and bianca jagger were strolling down the catwalk only from looking at the pics from the show. it was enough for me to conclude once again that i really love hedi slimane.

after watching this movie again i came to realize how much i'm fed up with blogs, streetstyle, fashion events, front rows, top trends, social networks, smartphones, bad english (and mother tongue too), mediocrity.. i just want to be focused on reading books, magazines and newspapers, going to concerts, watching movies, listening to records, writing letters, collecting postcards, hanging out with the real people.. call me pretentious or consider this just a phase, but life's too short to spend it in front of the screen not searching for inspiration but a daily dose of spam.
